91 Points – Vinous: Saturated violet. Potent cassis, cherry pit, licorice and pipe tobacco qualities on the fragrant nose. Picks up a hint of smokiness with air, which carries onto the palate, complementing lively, spice-laced dark fruit and candied rose flavors. Finishes long and smooth, with repeating florality and well-judged tannins.
