Buzzard\’s Roost Barrel Strength Straight Bourbon 750ml

Age: 4-6 Years | Proof: 114
Mash Bill: Blend of 4 to 6 Year-old Whiskeys

About:Buzzards roost is extremely excited to introduce our very first bourbon expression: barrel strength straight bourbon whiskey. Distilled in Indiana and aged 4-6 years before bottling, this expression is created from two distinct rye based mash bills.

The color is a very deep amber and this bourbon is heavy enough to hold up to the most flavorful cocktails, yet light enough to be enjoyed as an elegant sipper straight out of the bottle.

The nose is big and characteristic of whiskey way beyond its age statement. The palate gives way to an explosion of sweetness, and the finish is a perfect marriage of structure and heat.

Nose:Caramel, dark chocolate, baking spices with a slight hint of perfectly seasoned oak. These notes are supported by a complex array of earthy and estery notes including orange peel, dark fruit, and aging tobacco.

Palate:vanilla and coconut at the mid palate. All the way through, the sweetness is accompanied by a rich blast of maraschino cherry and citrus worthy of the finest old fashioned.

Finish:The cherry and citrus fade away to a lingering presentation of coconut and confection with some spice to keep it company along the way.
