Domaine Du Bel Air Bourgueil Jour de Soif 2022

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil in the Loire Valley, France. The fruit comes from a mix of clay & gravel terroirs, from an average age of 20 year old vines

Taste Profile: This wine reveals a less pronounced purple color than matured wines. Red fruit aromas accompanied by floral notes. The palate is light on the fruit and without tannin, the finish has a salty side that invites you to pour yourself another helping

Winemaking Process:In the cellar, the grapes are completely destemmed and then sorted again on the table before being vatted. Fermentations are traditional and with indigenous yeasts after a cold pre-fermentation maceration. Vatting is gentle and lasts on average 8 days with pumping over and a temperature not exceeding 25% to preserve the maximum fruit. The wines are then run off and put into vats, aged on fine lees and bottled the following spring
