Lanzerac Pinotage Rose 2023

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Pinotage from Stellenbosch, South Africa. It comes from a block planted in 2015 in Jonkershoek Valley

Taste Profile:Gentle aromatic notes of perfume and rose petals, redcurrants and crushed strawberries. It has a slight sweetness to it that makes it perfect for easy sipping during the warm summer months

Enjoy this dry Pinotage Ros on lazy summer days with a frozen strawberry pav with a fresh fruit coulis, a prawn, mango and avocado salad or with refreshing watermelon, feta and blackberry skewers.

Winemaking Process:The fruit was destemmed, and a light 2-3 hour skin extraction before the juice was left to settle. The clear juice was drawn off the lees and inoculated with a specific commercial yeast strain. Fermentation was controlled at around 14 Celsius and took around 10 days to complete
