The Nikau Tonimbuk Granite 2021 Pinot Noir is a captivating and finely sculpted expression, shaped by its granitic soils and cool site. Aromatically vivid, it opens with crushed red cherry, blood orange, and cranberry, accented by hints of flint, dried herbs, and gentle whole bunch spice. The palate is taut and energetic, driven by a core of precise red fruit, bright acidity, and a firm mineral spine that adds tension and detail. Fine-grained tannins lend structure without weight, allowing the wines purity and stony character to shine through. Focused, elegant, and quietly powerful, its a beautifully transparent Pinot Noir with excellent aging potential.
